Gina Smedley, President

Gina Smedley,

Hi! My name is Gina Smedley, and I have a son in 3rd grade, and another son in 1st grade.  We moved to town in 2016, and I joined the PTA to meet other parents at CRS and to help in any capacity I could with events and activities for our children. My first year with the PTA and at CRS was amazing! I met so many wonderful parents and teachers who truly care about our children’s well-being. My entire family enjoys being part of this exceptional community with such outstanding parent involvement, and commitment to its students’ education. I also feel fortunate to work with the dedicated staff and faculty at CRS. I work full time, but it's my pleasure to immerse myself in my role as president to help make our children’s experience at CRS memorable and fun!

Chela Papaccioli, Vice President

Hi, my name is Chela Papaccioli.  I am very fortunate to have three wonderful boys, all of whom will be at CRS this year. My oldest son is in 5th grade, my middle one is in 2nd, and my youngest is starting kindergarten. I grew up and went to school in Franklin Lakes and moved back here about 6 years ago so that my kids could have the same great experiences that I did. I am an HR Business partner and have been working at ADP for 10 years. Recently I started working from home which has allowed me the flexibility to spend more time with my boys and get more involved. I have loved being part of the CRS Family and am extremely excited to be the Vice President this year. I'm looking forward to working with all of the wonderful families here.

Maneet Kaur, Vice President of PTA Programming

Hi, I'm Maneet Kaur. I'm excited to take on the role of Vice President at Colonial Road School. I'm the proud mom of a son in 3nd grade, a daughter in 1st and another little one at home who can't wait to join her brother and sister at CRS! I have been living in Franklin Lakes for the past 9 years and am so happy to be part of the panda family. As the former treasurer and a bookkeeping consultant to local businesses, my skills serve me well in supporting our PTA's goals. Getting involved in the PTA has been a great way for me and my family to connect to our school community. Participating in our family activities has also brought my whole family closer to the many special people at our school. I am looking forward to a great school year!

Candice Lim, Treasurer

Hi everyone, my name is Candice Lim.  I’m a mom of two boys at Colonial Road School; my older son is in fourth grade and my younger one is in kindergarten.  We’re excited that our boys finally get to attend the same school… Go CRS Pandas!  Our family moved to Franklin Lakes in 2011, and we’ve been immensely blessed by its outstanding schools and community.  We have made many cherished friendships through PTA meetings, Halloween Bash, Movie Night, Bingo Night, Ladies Night Out, Year End Bash (just to name a few of the great events made possible by our team of PTA parents)... and we look forward to meeting many more wonderful families this year!

Melissa Grafman, Corresponding Secretary

Hi, my name is Melissa Grafman.  I am excited and honored to take on the role of corresponding secretary and to be a part of the PTA and CRS communities. I am very fortunate to have two incredible girls. My oldest is a rising 1stgrader and my youngest is 2.5. As a family, we feel proud and lucky to call this town and school our home. In addition to being a mom and serving on the PTA, I am a Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist and own a private practice in Ridgewood, serving children, adolescents and young adults. While the juggle can be challenging at times, I am fortunate to have some flexibility with my time and do my best to create a balance between work and home life. I have always enjoyed being a part of a team and working alongside my peers and friends. I am looking forward to a rewarding year serving on the PTA for our children and connecting with the families in our community and at CRS.
